Here is a photo of the incubator in our classroom. Inside we have 13 fertilized eggs. Students have been learning all about the developing embryo inside each egg. Did you know that the eggs need to be "turned" several times each day while developing? Well, first graders do! And they have been assisting with this important job. I will add some photos next week of "first grade egg turners"!
At the art station this week, students made these adorable chicks! They are on display in the classroom but will go home soon. . . . everyone loved this activity!
