As you may know, our school rules are Be Safe, Be Kind, and Do Your Best!  This class is awesome! They filled our classroom "Champ Band Jar" already while practicing expected school behavior.  Room 10 is off to a great start.  We celebrated on Friday afternoon with an extra long outside recess.  The weather was fantastic.  What a lovely way to end our first "full week" of school!

Last Friday, students of Room 10 were honored by their teacher with "Paper Plate Awards".  We also indulged in ice cream sundaes.  What a wonderful way to end the year with this bunch!  I will miss you all dearly!  Enjoy the summer!

Wow!!  I feel blessed!!  I would like to thank all families 

for the outpouring of appreciation throughout this week.  

Our PTO planned a wonderful "Super Hero" themed week.

Students created super hero masks (which are taped to our 

classroom door), wrote letters, brought in flowers and treats, 

and so much more! I reminded my students that their 

"presence" is the greatest "present" of all.  Thank you all

from the bottom of my heart!

Second graders are studying the life cycle of the Brassica plant.

Brassica is considered a "fast-growing" plant.  By studying this 

type of plant, students are able to observe the complete life cycle.
